About me
Dr. Lori Cantu Gonzalez has served in public education for over 30 years as a teacher, principal, and district-level leader, including seven years as superintendent. She earned a master’s degree in Reading and Language Arts with a Reading Specialist Credential from California State University, Fresno, and a doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California. Known for her commitment to equity, instructional excellence, and whole-child development, Dr. Cantu Gonzalez has led transformative efforts to strengthen systems, advance learning, and grow leadership at all levels. As the Founder and Lead Consultant of WholeLeader Consulting, she now partners with leaders and organizations to cultivate sustainable systems that foster excellence, wellbeing, and thriving learning communities. Dr. Cantu Gonzalez is now an Assistant Professor at CSU, Fresno where she works with doctoral students and future administrators.
