About me
Dr. Scott Carroll is the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for the Oxnard School District, where he leads with a commitment to equity and excellence while serving as an advocate for the students and families within the community. A proud native of Oxnard, Scott returned to his hometown district in 2019, bringing with him a diverse background in educational leadership developed across multiple school districts. Throughout his career, Dr. Carroll has served in a variety of roles including middle school teacher, intervention coordinator, assistant principal, elementary principal, middle school principal, and HR Director. Driven by a mission to uplift the community that shaped him, Dr. Carroll is dedicated to strengthening the Human Resources Department’s capacity to support OSD’s educators and staff in delivering high-quality educational opportunities. He firmly believes that education is the most powerful tool in disrupting cycles of generational poverty.
