About me
Aleyda is the Executive Director of Multilingual Learner Services in a diverse K–8 public school district leads systemwide efforts to improve outcomes for multilingual learners through instructional coherence, leadership development, and cross-department collaboration. Her work focuses on building sustainable systems that align curriculum, professional learning, and accountability structures to accelerate student achievement and expand access to opportunity.In addition to leading instructional initiatives such as Designated and Integrated ELD, she oversees large-scale compliance and accountability processes, including Federal Program Monitoring (FPM). Through this work, she has led efforts to redesign complex district systems by integrating technology, including artificial intelligence, with clear leadership structures to increase efficiency, build collective capacity, and reduce operational burden. She is committed to developing systems that not only meet requirements, but also create the conditions for educators, students, and families to thrive.
