About me
Alejandra Limon serves as the Director of Community Schools for Calexico Unified School District, where she brings over 32 years of experience as an educator and administrator. She currently serves a unified TK–12 district of approximately 7,750 students in a unique binational community along the U.S.–Mexico border, where she is deeply committed to advancing student well-being and ensuring equitable access to supports for all students.In her role, Ms. Limon oversees the Family Resource Center and leads key initiatives supporting homeless and foster youth, LGBTQ+ students, and the McKinney-Vento Program. She works closely with Community School Facilitators across all 11 school sites to implement a coordinated, districtwide approach to student support and engagement.Ms. Limon also collaborates with community partners such as Me & Mine to gather and use student well-being data, strengthening targeted interventions and enhancing outcomes. Grounded in the district’s motto, “The Whole Child, Every Child, All the Time,” she champions a comprehensive, student-centered approach—leveraging partnerships, data, and systems of care to make a meaningful and lasting impact for students and families.
