Christina Hirales – Veteran Title 1 Principal Equity & Leadership Advocate
Christina Hirales leads DeMille My Viet Language Academy, WSD, the state’s first Vietnamese Dual Language Immersion school. Under her leadership, the school has earned multiple honors, including the CABE Seal of Biliteracy, CABE Visionary & Legacy Board Award, OCDE IMPACT Schools Award, and she herself has the honoring of receiving CALSA's 2026 Region 6 Honoring Our Own site Administrator Award for Orange County. With over 25 years of experience working in predominantly Title 1 schools Christina is passionate about equity, inclusivity, and building leadership from within. Christina empowers others to succeed alongside her.
