Jessica Salcedo is the proud Principal of Manuel Esqueda TK–8 School in the Santa Ana Unified School District, currently serving in her second year as principal. Her experience spans roles as a math and science teacher, district specialist, and innovative school builder, bringing a strong foundation in instructional leadership and systems development. Jessica leads with a systems-thinking, collaborative, and student-centered approach, building aligned systems that accelerate student learning and support high-quality instruction. She is passionate about bringing people together across the system to support student success and ensuring equitable access to meaningful, rigorous learning experiences for all students. She fosters a culture of continuous improvement where decisions are grounded in student needs and staff are supported to grow their practice. She values mentorship as a critical component of developing effective leaders and strives to create the best learning environments for all learners within the school community and beyond.
