Josue Diaz is an educational leader with more than 25 years of experience in public education, spanning roles as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, site administrator, and district leader. His career has included leadership across multiple educational systems in California, including large urban districts and county-level agencies serving communities in Oakland, Los Angeles, and San Diego. He currently serves as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Alisal Union School District in Monterey County, where he leads districtwide work in talent development, labor relations, and organizational leadership.Throughout his career, Josue has focused on strengthening school systems by building leadership capacity, modernizing human resources practices, and fostering cultures of trust, accountability, and growth. As a first-generation college graduate and Latino leader, he is deeply committed to mentoring future leaders and helping school systems create environments where both adults and students can thrive.
