About me
Rubí Flores M.A. has worked in schools as an ELD and Dual language educator and trainer across Texas, Oklahoma, El Salvador, California, and México. Her current work focuses on developing educator capacity, coaching, implementing authentic methods for biliteracy instruction, designing effective strategies for Spanish and English academic language development, and has presented nationally and internationally on these topics. She is also a co-author of “Breaking Down the Monolingual Wall: Essential Shifts for Multilingual Learners′ Success.” She currently serves as the California Association for Bilingual Education’s Director of Learning, Engagement, Advocacy, and Development Department, supporting Educators, Families, and Students with capacity building and professional learning.
