About me
Dr. Saida Valdez is currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services in the Adelanto Elementary School District. Dr. Valdez brings more than 30 years of experience in public education and has served as a teacher, principal, district administrator, and higher education faculty member. Her career reflects a lifelong commitment to supporting students, families, and educators.
Instructional excellence has been at the center of Dr. Valdez’s leadership. She has guided schools in strengthening literacy, expanding English Language Development, and fostering professional learning communities that empower teachers and improve outcomes for students. She has also presented more than 100 professional development workshops across California, sharing her expertise in curriculum, instruction, and leadership with educators statewide.
Her dedication has earned recognition at both the district and state level, including honors such as Administrator of the Year, Principal of the Year, and Teacher of the Year. These awards highlight her passion for education and her belief that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive.
