About me
Shevonne Swanson is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience spanning classroom instruction, coaching, early learning, curriculum leadership, and district administration. She has dedicated her career to serving students, staff, and families in the Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District. She began her career as an elementary teacher before moving into roles as an instructional coach and Early Childhood Administrator. From July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2023, she served as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Learning, leading districtwide initiatives focused on teaching excellence, professional growth, and student achievement. Since July 1, 2023, Ms. Swanson has served as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, where she continues to provide strategic leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and educational programs in support of student success throughout the district.
