About me
Yosaira Espinoza is a Program Manager of District and School Support at the Alameda County Office of Education and co-facilitator of the agency’s Latinx Affinity Group, where she helps foster community, belonging, and culturally affirming spaces for staff. She supports districts and charter schools through accountability, compliance, strategic planning, and continuous improvement efforts, with a strong focus on equity and student success.
As a first-generation college graduate and daughter of immigrant parents, Yosaira brings both lived experience and professional commitment to her work. Her journey has shaped a deep passion for advocating for historically underserved communities and helping students and families navigate systems that can often feel inaccessible.
From 2015 to 2025, Yosaira served with the Hispanic Community Affairs Council as a Board Member and Scholarship Committee Chair. As a former scholarship recipient of this organization, she believes deeply in the importance of giving back to the communities that invest in and uplift future generations. In this role, she supported students and families through scholarship opportunities and educational guidance.
Across her professional and community work, Yosaira is dedicated to uplifting underserved communities, expanding access to opportunity, and creating spaces where students and families feel seen, supported, and empowered.
